Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for the role in the film Bo. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, and Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed performer, actress, and playwright and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to the play school and watching her mother do her job. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials while she was a young child. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999, to keep acting. Then she moved into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met at an Actorsworkshop in Los Angeles. In December 2009 they married after a civil wedding ceremony. They renewed their vows on April 10th 2011 at Fredericton with the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk made it known to her fans that she was pregnant at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk was working on Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was first conceived on January 6, 2013 on Twitter, announced that she would return to the show on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. CNN named Bo's portrayal along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about television couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its popularity on social media has earned it a large online fan base.
